Or is it just me? I have to click login nearly every page, only to have the oauth time out. Then, 60% of the time, it logs me back in somehow. Anyone else experiencing this strange phenomena? Have a unicorn for your time

For me, kinja doesnt like it when I'm logged in on more than one device at a time and logs me out of all devices when that happens

Clear your cache/cookies/everything. Then re-log in. Helps, usually.

You don't use any privacy add-ons, do you? I can't even log-in when using Firefox because of the self-destrucing cookies add-on that I use.

I've experienced that in the past, but not lately. Maybe an issue with your specific authentication? My work thingy here is a burner (obviously), but it might be with Google or Twitter or whichever.

Hey, where have you been? I haven't seen you in a while

Seems to be an API timeout. Thought I was proper fucked there for a second when I cleared my cache

Does it have the tent option?

Cleared, still had to try multiple times to get the login page. Thought I was proper fucked because my creds were no longer cached :|

I remember when I was using IE (work computer) and things were so Kinja'd it was prompting/trying to open the API for google login as a file. Good times, good times.

I can't use IE for oppo at work. They have it so locked down it doesn't cache a thing! Have to re-login every time I close.
Chrome hasn't had the issue, though this is kinda painful.

Allow third party cookies in your browser?

Yup. When it happens, I get an API timeout. Next time it does I'll grab a screenshot and, next time I'm allowed to log in, I'll post it.

The fact that you're on a work network makes me cringe. Are you able to try on another network? Do you have the same problem incognito? Which version of Windows?
![]() 06/25/2014 at 16:15 |

Don't have another network to try at the moment, but I'll certainly give it a shot when i get home. Also haven't had issues here before and I'm part of the chain that would be notified if changes were going to be made. Windows 7 x64 SP1, Chrome 34.0.1847.116 m

Yeah, let me know how it goes on another network. I'm not able to repro any issues on Win7/Chrome34. Anything else you're doing that's leading up to the issue which I may not be taking into consideration?

It does seem to happen most when I receive a notification. I'll actually stay logged in for a good while, then when I notice that blue circle's gone black? Try to log in a few times and be greeted by a notification or two
